1. Supports security systems, operation administration, monitoring and maintenance of cyber security systems and applications. 2. Monitors security alerts and events. 3. Collects and documents information based on established practices. 4. Supports the preparation and publishing of security advisories. 5. Assists with the analysis of security-related information and events, escalation of incidents for validation and remediation. 6. Required to be on standby with on-call availability with varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. 7. Familiar with cyber security standards, protocols and frameworks. 8. Knowledgeable in using various cyber security tools and techniques to monitor and resolve incidents. 9. Alert and vigilant in performing monitoring activities. 10. Able to analyse and resolve security-related issues critically. 11. Communicates clearly in interactions with others. 12. Coordinates effectively with team to perform security operations.

1. Leverage AI and digital tools to design and deploy protection systems to monitor and safeguard electrical infrastructure. 2. Install and configure sensors in substations to track and analyse real-time data to detect anomalies in signal patterns and potential security threats. 3. Utilise AI tools to develop and implement strategies for preventive correction based on real-time data analysis. 4. Utilise digital tools to adjust system parameters and settings to enhance protection and prevent potential disruptions. 5. Respond to system alerts and security breaches, diagnosing and documenting issues and taking corrective actions to mitigate impact. 6. Perform regular maintenance on protection systems to ensure reliability and effectiveness.

1. Perform precise splicing of fiber optic cables, both single-mode and multi-mode, using fusion splicing or mechanical splicing techniques. 2. Read and interpret work orders, fiber network drawings, and splice diagrams to execute accurate splicing configurations. 3. Conduct thorough testing of spliced fibers using optical time-domain reflectometers (OTDRs), power meters, and other specialized equipment to ensure optimal signal transmission. 4. Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic systems, identifying faults and implementing solutions to restore functionality. 5. Maintain detailed records of splicing activities, test results, and fiber optic network changes. 6. Adhere to industry standards and safety protocols to ensure high-quality workmanship and a safe working environment. 7. Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to coordinate splicing activities within larger network projects. 8. Keep abreast of new developments in fiber optic technology and splicing techniques to enhance skills and efficiency. 9. Provide technical support and assistance during network installations, upgrades, and maintenance operations. 10. Manage and maintain splicing equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and calibrated as necessary.
